Executive Officers and Board Members

CCRSO Board of Directors. Board members are elected at our annual meeting in the spring. They serve one year terms and may be re-elected. The new Board members choose among themselves President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. The current Board members are:

God Loves You Fr. Ben St. Croix, Companions of the Cross
Spiritual Director

Fr Ben is a priest with the "Companions of the Cross" community and has a heart for evangelization. Born and raised in Kenora, Ontario, he joined the Companions of the Cross community in 1993 and has completed degrees in Philosophy and Theology at Dominican College and St. Paul's University in Ottawa. Fr Ben was ordained in Ottawa in 2001, and has over the past 13 years spent time in campus ministry, parish work, itinerant preaching and at an evangelization centre in Houston, TX. He is also helping establish a new community of religious sisters in Ottawa, the Queenship of Mary Community. Recently he has been invited to support CCRSO as the spiritual director.

Brian Sullivan Brian Sullivan

Brian Sullivan has been involved in various aspects of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal for more than 27 years. He serves as Bishop's Liaison to the Charismatic Renewal for the Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie. He is the Past President of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services of Ontario.
Sacred Way Farm is home for Brian and his nine children where they enjoy the rural life in Northern Ontario. Brian=s career in Catholic education involves him as a vice principal in a Catholic high school. He co-founded, with his late wife, Cindy-Lee, a Charismatic Youth Group for high school students called YEO (Youth Evangelizing Others). Part of YEO's outreach is to provide ROCC (Rebuilding Our Catholic Church) retreats for Catholic elementary and secondary schools in the region. His team has developed grade level retreats based on the Life in the Spirit Seminars and current religious curriculum.

Ina Ina Caplette
Vice President

Ina Caplette and her husband John live in Oakville, Ontario. She serves on the Bread of Life Magazine's Board of Directors and is a founding member of the Liaty of St. Paul in Canada. She is an active parishioner at St. James RCC in Oakville, and over the years has served in the Inner Healing and Unbound Prayer Ministries. She also attends St. Andrew's Charismatic Prayer Group.


Deacon Mark Romeo

Deacon Mark Romeo serves in the Archdiocese of Toronto and was ordained in June 2012. Shortly after his ordination Deacon Mark was assigned the Associate Liaison in the archdiocese of Toronto. Dcn. Mark is currently assigned to The Guardian Angel's Parish in Brampton, Ontario and has been spearheading the "Alpha" (both adult and youth track) and the "Theology of the Body" program for High School and Middle School students in the parish. Mark and June were married in '77 and are proud parents of four boys (one who rests with the Lord) and two wonderful grand children. Earlier this year Mark viewed his termination from a job as Manager in Finance to be his queue to slowdown either to a far less demanding job or semi-retirement.


Joe Ruscio

Joe is a chartered Accountant in practice for over 20 years. He is also a Real Estate developer and property manager. Joe is married with three children and lives in Sault Ste Marie. He is a parishioner of "Our Lady of Good Counsel" Parish involved as lecturer and Lay minister and is involved the Parish Finance committee and Building Committee.

Brian and Isobel have been married for 45 years. They have 3 children and 4 grandchildren and live in Ancaster, Ontario. They have been in involved in various expects of the renewal since 1978 and at present time part of St. Ann's Parish Community in Ancaster and St. Andrew's Prayer group in Oakville . Brian is a retired faculty member of Mohawk College and a Media consultant. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Bread of Life Renewal Centre in the position of President and secretary/treasurer for the Catholic Charismatic services of the Hamilton Dioceses.

Deacon Stan Cor

Deacon Stan Cor

Stan and Janine have been married 46 years and have three grown children, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. They have lived in Porcupine for the past 37 years.
Stan's varied career as an accountant includes banking, Financial Officer in a hospital, Kidd Creek accounting and computer services, and 17 years with the City of Timmins as Accountant, Licensing Officer and Cemetery Manager. Now retired, Stan keeps busy with home renovations, ministry and helping with maintenance projects in his parish.
Stan was ordained a Permanent Deacon in the Catholic Church on the feast of the Presentation of Christ, February 2, 1990 and has served many years at Paroisse St. Jude's Parish and for the past six years at Paroisse St. Joachim Parish as well as in other areas of the Church.
Stan had a conversion experience in 1973 and has been a member of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal since 1975. He has served as Treasurer, Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the provincial body and is currently Chairman again. His special interests include "whole person healing: spirit, soul, heart and body," Evangelization, and seeing people come into a personal relationship with Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. Most recently he facilitated a Called and Gifted Spiritual Gifts Workshop at St. Patrick's Parish in Kapuskasing, Ontario.
Stan has been associated with The Good Samaritan Inn, a shelter for the homeless, since 2008 helping especially with accounting functions and as a liaison with their auditors.
